National Gallery
Our recent trip to the National Gallery was a resounding success! The children transformed into art detectives, sharpening their observation skills to uncover hidden stories within world-famous masterpieces.
A highlight was exploring Henri Rousseau’s Tiger in a Tropical Storm. By hunting for visual clues, the students noticed the tiger’s startled expression. This sparked a fantastic debate: was the creature jumping at a bolt of lightning, or perhaps the distant crack of a hunter’s gun?
The experience was elevated by our brilliant guide. As one child put it: ‘I have seen some amazing things and the guide was great and intelligent.’
